What happens after the agreement is signed by everyone?

21 April 2022

Once landlords and tenants sign the tenancy agreement, it becomes a legally binding contract.

If any changes are discussed after the agreement is signed off, it should be done in writing. Alternatively, all parties can agree to create a brand new agreement if required.

Once the tenancy agreement is signed, the next step is to lodge your bond with Tenancy Sercices.

The bond lodgement process is now completely digital, removing the need for paper or PDF forms previously used. Bonds must be lodged online through the Tenancy Services website or via property management software like myRent.
