This original 1920s bungalow has a calm homely atmosphere with modern and mid-century features. Most of the house has double glazed windows and original kauri wood floors.

The living room has a heat/ac pump, working fireplace, hifi system, corner couch, dining table, and mid-century vibes.

The two main bedrooms are medium sized and comfortable. As per the photograph, the front bedroom us currently furnished as a music room. However, we can supply a bed to convert to your needs - just ask. The third bedroom is small and currently set up as a nursery.

The toilet has a bidet, and is in a separate room from the bathroom. The bathroom has a heated towel rack, tub, and shower (enjoy high volume, high pressure, and instant heat!). The washer and dryer are in a small laundry room attached to the kitchen.

There are five locations for eating: the front porch, dining room, breakfast nook, kitchen barstools, and rear deck. The kitchen has a gas stove and pleasant high up views to the west.

French doors from the kitchen lead to the raised deck, which has stairs down to the back garden. The garden has a variety of useful trees such as lemon, lime, feijoa, and a small raised garden plot.

We have abundant bird life due to our established trees, with tui, pukeko, morepork, and of course mallards. There is a covered carport, large compost bins, and a garage too small for a vehicle but handy for storage.

Our home is located 15 minutes walk from the Glen Eden Train Station, library, cafes, doctor, green grocers, playground, and all the shops. It's a vibrant family neighborhood.
