We are having a year off and want to share our cosy, warm home with the right person or couple. We are aiming to be away for most of the year travelling, tramping and cycling giving you the ability to enjoy the house, which includes your two bedrooms, the kitchen, bathroom, large open plan lounge with a wood burner (all wood included), and a separate laundry. During the summer, the large north facing deck is perfect for entertaining, with a substantial BBQ and dining area and an inground pool. In the winter, the fire warms up the entire house, and we have firewood to spare. The outdoor areas are all low maintenance, so easy to enjoy all year round. We also have a smoochy cat, Ed, who loves company and will follow you around the section.

Oratia is on the outskirts of Auckland and is in the Waitakere foothills. There are plenty of bushwalks and the beaches are nearby. You get the best of both worlds, as shops, train stations and malls are still close by. You will be 10 mins to Glen Eden, 15 mins to Henderson, 25 mins to Auckland CBD and 30 mins to Piha beach.

You will have 2 newly decorated rooms to call your own. We will keep our bedroom separate to use when we're in town, and will obviously keep in touch about our plans. The house is fully furnished, other than your rooms, which you can furnish to make your own.
