We have lived in this cozy home for 3 years and we still think how lucky we are every morning. It's a compact (100m2) 3brm (set up as 2brms and an office) home, built 5 years ago on a 900m2 section with beautiful mountain views. We are going to be away from 5 July until 18 November and so are looking for up to 4 people (preferably 2) to enjoy and look after our home.
The home is so well insulated and sunny that we find we need very little heating from the heat pump and the wood burner. The only challenge is making sure the wood burner doesn't make it too hot! So cozy!
Choices of decks to enjoy; The covered rear deck offers a lovely private sheltered space. The front deck to enjoy all day sun and views. Although compact, the open plan living, dining and kitchen with high ceilings and 2 sets of bifold doors makes it feel very spacious.
The terraced lawns and gardens provide nature, space and privacy. But don't worry, that doesn't mean a lot of maintenance work. The rent includes gardening and lawn mowing by our contractor. The rent also includes fully furnished, internet, power and a limited supply of firewood (we would be surprised if you use it all).
2km walk or drive to the lake edge and Wanaka CBD.
