Access to the cottage is via Patons Rock Beach approximately 300m from the sealed road end. A 4WD is ideal for access up the beach. A regular short walk from the cottage along the beach to carparking on Patons Rock Road would be required for most 2WD vehicles.

The cottage is unfurnished but includes a washing machine and a bar fridge.
