A cute 2 bedroom, double story house in idyllic Island Bay will be available at Easter. It has off street parking (2 x small cars or 1 x medium/large) and on-street parking on a reasonably quiet, dead-end street.

You enter the top floor from street level, through a digital door lock, into the open plan living area comprising kitchen, lounge area, dining area, and a small private deck. This whole area is flooded with light from the large windows that overlook reserve land owned by the Taputeranga Marae, and Sisters of Compassion. The hills extend up to the Sea to City Walkway. The main windows face north and the sun and light streams into this area.

A bright staircase takes you downstairs to the bathroom/toilet/laundry and to two different sized bedrooms. Both bedrooms have external doors to a small enclosed courtyard under the deck, and both have built-in wardrobes. There is also access to a storage area under the stairs.

The house is naturally very warm, but also has two heat pumps - one upstairs in the living area and the other downstairs in the stairwell.

We are negotiable with regards to pets. But definitely no big dogs.

There are lots of amenities nearby including the Island Bay shopping precinct, restaurants and cafes and takeaway food places, a couple of pubs, movie theatre, library, kids' playgrounds, and the Wakefield Park Sports Complex. Also, lots of easily accessible walking tracks with spectacular views up in the nearby hills.
