The Waimakariri River, Mt Oxford, ski fields and walking and MTB tracks are all close by, while central Christchurch is only an hour away. There is potential for grazing a horse or two in the paddocks below the house.

When you step inside you'll feel what a special place this swiss-style house is. Designed and built for cold winters with good insulation, it has 3 wood fires and oil heaters, along with plenty of light and sun. In summer it is cool and well ventilated, with expansive lawns, great views and mature trees for evenings outdoors. Apart from a large fridge, dishwasher, double oven and a set of bunk beds with mattresses it is largely unfurnished, ready for you to make it your home.

Note there is an attached wing that is rented separately from time-to-time as a 'bookabach/airbnb'. Access to that is via the shared driveway entrance leading to different parking areas, and the lawns to both are separated by a fence. Privacy of the other party will need to be respected.
