Waterview is a hidden gem with quiet streets and friendly community. The lovely Heron Park and the Oakley Creek walkways are just a stone throw away. With an easy access to transport route to central Auckland or the West, you can easily get around by car, bicycle, or bus. Driving to downtown is about 10-15 minutes (add 10 minutes at rush hours). Cycling to city centre takes 30-40 minutes and is mostly on safe cycle paths. Also nearby are the Waterview School, Western Springs, Auckland Zoo, and Pt Chev shops, as well as Avondale shops and Sunday Market in the other direction.
This is our beloved first home which has lots of sunlight in summer and is cosy in winter with new thermal curtains and an efficient heat pump. The neighbours are lovely people and there is a cat Ash (although we call her Tuuli) that visits often. We hope you will enjoy the house and the neighbourhood as much as we did. Rent is $750 per week. Move-in costs include 2 weeks rent and 4 weeks bond. Pets are ok but we will say no thank you to smokers.
