What does it mean when a property is under offer?

2 May 2022

When the property is marked as “under offer”, it means that the landlord has selected the tenants and verbally agreed with them to take their place.

If the applicants accept this offer, the next step would be for the background checks and the tenancy paperwork to be completed.

It's very common for landlords to continue advertising their properties during this period.

If you enquired or applied to rent the property that has gone under offer and are still interested in it, we would update you if this offer falls through or when the property is marked as "rented".
