Do I need the tenant's consent to visit the property for a healthy homes assessment?

25 October 2022

It is always a good idea to talk to your tenants and discuss what you plan on doing and why.

If you need to do work to comply or prepare to comply with the healthy homes standards, you need to give tenants a minimum of 24 hours' notice to access the rental property. Generally, the work can be carried out between 8am and 7pm.
